 Fort Wayne Dancesport's celebration of National Ballroom Dance Week wrapped up with a public ballroom dance at IPFW Saturday, September 23.
Our organization kicked off the week with a public demonstration of
ballroom dancing at Glenbrook Square mall Saturday afternoon, September
16.
Representatives of several local studios participated. Photos are available in our online photo gallery. and a few short video clips of demonstrations at Glenbrook are also available on this site.
Fort Wayne Dancesport arranged near-nightly open dances throughout National Ballroom Dance Week, allowing dancers to enjoy a different dance venue almost every night.
Our National Ballroom Dance Week activities were planned by committee members Jamie Lothamer, Frank Luarde or David Hans.

Ballroom dancers from around the Fort Wayne area demonstrated their artistry at Glenbrook Square mall in Fort Wayne September 16, 2006, as part of National Ballroom Dancers Week.

Professional American Rhythm competitors Patric Didier and Jennifer Schnoor of Fort Wayne performed exhibition routines including a cha-cha.
Instructor Mark Bradburn demonstrated a west coast swing with two ladies!
Instructor Mark Weisenburger demonstrated a salsa with Billie Addams.
